The location had wonderful views and cliff walks which were good for birdwatching. The gardens were beautifully kept. Staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed.
Food was a little fussy - less complicated would be an improvement I think.
We were in Ireland to visit our daughter who had just undergone brain surgery and lived in the locality. We thought that the Bayveiw Hotel provided all we needed for our stay. Thank you for all your kindness to us. We will certainly stay again if we visit that area of Ireland
My husband and I stayed just 1 night. The weather was brilliant.Really enjoyed relaxing in the garden terrace and enjoying the fantastic view of the harbour. Next day did the cliff walk ( part of) . The scenery is a delight. Lovely Hotel situated on cliff edge. Will be back.
As we went off season it was very quite in the bar in the evening, and if we were staying longer I would have missed a Leisure Centre and pool but could have availed of facilities of another hotel close by.
Being able to use the facilities in Garryvoe was great! Staff was very friendly!
The sheets were still a little damp after the winter and the heating comes on at odd times. The room service came very late in the day and did only refill/ replace some of the toiletries. In the toilet the sink area should be finished off, it still looks as if it has never fully finished. Just finish it with a bit of silicone (white) or grout, it would look alot nicer!!! And not a bad thing as such but it would be good to have a bigger variety of beer, even if it is just a few bottles of foreign origin.
This was my favorite hotel out of our 2 week stay in Ireland. Great location and it was nice to relax at the end of the day in the hotels bar and enjoy a pint of guiness. Make sure that you do the cliff walk! It was our favorite memory from our trip.
Literally, everything. This was the best of all the hotels we stayed in during our trip. Quiet, very comfortable, wonderful people, fabulous food, and a great value- not expensive.
The only thing I could possibly think of would be the slight moldy smell in the elevator- but that's it
i loved the llocation, the staff were professional, caring , knowledgable about the area. the hotel was clean good value for money. restaurant was excellent with good choices. Will come back. a very enjoyable stay.one of the best hotels I have stayed in. If you want a quiet peaceful holiday this is the hotel to be in.
Style, size, food, staff, location, village, surrounding area, personal affiliation as family from there- Liam Power- 'Powers Terrace'. Will be back again for sure, Just love it, Thanks, Lynne
We stayed ina first floor room with a balcony overlooking the sea. The view was stunning. (This was an upgrade by a very accomodating member of reception) The staff were all friendly, and professional, and the food (Breakfast/ Dinner) was excellent. Overall lovely 2 night stay.
This hotel is perfect! It is extremely well decorated and very clean, the rooms are spacious & comfortable with all the facilities you would expect. The restaurant is lovely and the views are spectacular. The bar menu is varied although only 2 options for children which could be improved upon. The staff were all very attentive and friendly, We will definately return!
A seperate menu for the children would be good as their were only 2 option, chicken goujons or fish goujons.
To arrive at your hotel to a room that overlooks the harbour and lighthouse was fabulous. Its location, relaxed atmosphere and the attentiveness of staff would definitely draw us back.
Location, size, decor, weather, food staff

Beautiful Veiw over the bay and harbour freindly and welcoming staff.
